The Walking Dead 2012 Alongside Horrific Rival Shows

Okay, here’s the glitch. More and more fans of The Walking Dead have been awry and waiting since the last autumn days of November last year for the vivid guts-gore zombie flick to resume its second best season. There’s nothing to worry about ladies and gentlemen, because we’ll be on for the next one! Don’t forget to watch The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 9: Triggerfinger online because you are not going to miss this airing date: just like episode 8, February 19, 2012.

Although deemed as one of the best and most horrific zombie apocalypse flicks of today, The Walking Dead comes back to a TV world filled more and more each day with high-end horrific shows. For instance, try to keep your tabs on a scary new kid on terror street which gets even more spine-tingling as time goes by. Try American Horror Story.

Not to mention the ever slick-and-sexy True Blood, which will start its fifth season this summer. There’s more, The River, Teen Wolf, a bunch of about every other horror characters from your childhood. Of course, what The Walking Dead has that sets the show apart from the other horror shows is of course its mixed bag of trick-or-treat delights. It’s a cocktail of entertainment at its best. Call me keen and nerdy yet the show can be visually stunning, sometimes bloody funny, even mini-heart-attack inducing ghastly, and no, I won’t deny it, deeply moving mountains.

Its most obvious fault lines, however, have been mile-wide logic gaps. For such a smartly produced series, “The Walking Dead” can fall back with frustrating regularity on idiotic plot devices that suggest the writers believe loyal viewers can be as mindless as their zombies.

Some of these logic lapses are mere bumps in the road, not uncommon in even the best of horror stories. OK, we noticed, but we’re not going to stop and check for damage. Others, though, are mammoth potholes that play havoc with your suspension of disbelief. These are the “hey, wait a minute” scenes, and it sure would be swell if the producers upped their game in this department.

Amazing? Wait till you get to watch The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 9: Triggerfinger online.
