We can never get enough of Andrew Lincoln a.k.a. Sheriff Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead, can’t we? And we’ll be dealing still with the hunky lucky bastard who plays the sheriff who leads his small army of human survivors, always with the undead on their heels. Andrew Lincoln, or Sheriff Rick Grimes for that matter says with hushed tones that he does love a little secret. What could that be?

That’s just partly the reason why Lincoln had told not a single soul the answer to what will become the biggest con in the history of the AMC zombie drama: What did the late scientist Dr. Jenner whispered to Rick in the season one finale.

“Not even my wife knows what he whispered to me,” Lincoln said curtly in one interview this Wednesday. He only claims that by keeping the whish-whoosh a secret, he truly feels that he is being true to his character in the series.

“Rick chooses not to tell people so why would I tell,” Lincoln said of the sheriff.

That’s one of the juiciest parts of the show, although the secret has only been rumored to be heard by only a handful of people, and the mystery has become the main object of intense scrutiny by so many fans. Lincoln also said that he realized how curious people were when a show editor usually reveals how he had scrolled through hours and hours of show footage and even listened to radio traffic in order to find the only two takes where the brief remarks were audible. The cast also revealed that the contents of the conversation will somehow be revealed this season.

“This is a scientist who seemingly held all the cards to what this epidemic s all about, and I do think, you know, you would imagine he would have something f value to say on that matter. And he chose to kill himself.” Lincoln said.

That would be more than enough for now, let’s have a brief review of the previous episode of the show. Last time, Rick, Glenn, and Herschel found themselves trapped and faced a battle for survival against a new army of foes, alive and undead; while Lori encountered danger on the road and Shane struggled to rescue and return her to the farm.
