Call him the douche bag of the bunch, the hopeless Casanova who does nothing but flirt with girls everywhere. Including their newest roomie, Jessica Day, played by Zooey Deschanel in New Girl Season 1 Episode 10: Christmas which will be on your small screens this December 20, 2011.

 We’re talking about Schmidt ladies and gentlemen, and his character is played by Max Greenfield. Head over heels with him already? Don’t fret, because we’re going to polish off some of the juicy facts about him. So Max Greenfield plays this self-described ladies man, dear Schmidt. Now here are the fun facts about the 31-year old actor.

 For one thing, he’d rather have Rihanna over the classics. Greenfield once tweeted, and then deleted simultaneously this peculiar video of himself dancing to the pop star’s ‘We Found Love’ while he was wearing a fat suit. He even revealed in the Vulture that he adores Rihanna. “My wife just loves pop music. I secretly like it a lot. When I’m in the car sometimes it’s like, ‘Yeah man just put on the pop music. You know what I mean.  Don’t want to listen to Tom Waits.”

 Fact number 2. He wishes one day he could work with Ray Romano. “I want Ray Romano to play my dad because he’s the best,” Greenfield tells E-News. “He’s my hero. He’s as good as it gets. He can do comedy and he can do drama. I think he’s very real. I just like his style. Everybody Loves Raymond was the best show ever. I loved Men of a Certain Age.” Next, would you believe he misses his time on veronica Mars? Here’s what he just said earlier about it. “I made a lot of friends on that show and I’m still close to some of the producers and some of the writers,” he tells After Elton. “It was just a great experience. It was just a really good learning experience as far as TV went for me. I loved the role and I loved everybody on that show.”

And if you think he’s good-looking and single, nope, he’s off the market after he married actress Tamara Taylor back in august 2008. And to tell you what, the buffoon is actually a health buff as well. According to a source on The Daily, Greenfield goes Cross Fit a couple to five times a week, especially since he loves to chug chocolate-covered biscotti and cookie sandwich.
