Like most Gossip Girl fans,  we’ll always be torn with what  to expect in Queen Blair’s love  life, who do we really want  Blair to be with? Can we just  cut to the chase and ask Blair Waldorf herself, Leighton Meester? Or should I say, we  wait until Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 9: Rhodes to Perdition? By the way, the next episode of the epic, young adult television series will make you crave for more on November 28, 2011.

Surprisingly, Meester thinks otherwise. “The one relationship I’d love to play out is Blair and Dan,” when asked about it on the show’s 100^th episode party night last Saturday. Penn Badgley, who plays Dan just said, “I like the Blair story line because it’s the most exciting for Dan as a person.” Even if it’s just as refreshing to see the Queen Bee of Constance Billard and Sexy Penman Dan, who usually lock horns when they meet, the executive producer of the show, Josh Safran just said that the pairing has had a clear possibility to happen since the beginning.

“I wrote the first scene with them together in Season 1 … and we knew at that moment there was something there,” he said.

And although we all want to see them together, the Blair and Dan tandem got off with a few major glitches. To quote, there’s Queen B’s upcoming wedding to Prince Louis, plus bump on the way. Just this Monday’s episode foretold us of Blair’s continuous wedding preparations (good thing she’s no bridezilla), until the 100^th episode finally airs on January 30.

“She does walk down the aisle,” said Margaret Colins, who plays Blair’s mom. Added Blake Lively: “We shot a big dance sequence.” So, while it seems there’s a ceremony and a reception, Safran said it could all a dream. Although I could just chuck my insides with the Blair and Chuck tandem ad nauseaum since season one, Meester said that she’s alright with their present status.

“Her and Chuck have had ups and downs and as much as everyone loves them together, I think them having time apart has actually helped them grow,” she said.

Oops, Chair fans, there’s nothing to get nuts about yet. Executive producer Stephanie Savage told us: “We have some amazing Chuck-and-Blair scenes coming up in the next couple of episodes.. The Chuck-and-Blair relationship is really fun and something that wasn’t in the books, but came out of Leighton and  chemistry.” There’s nothing compared to not missing Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 9: Rhodes to Perdition, so definitely, you should go check it out.

Whether you want Blair to be with Chuck or Dan (does anyone want her with the Prince?), creator Josh Schwartz has a solution. “There’s only one way to satisfy all those people,” he said. “Threesome.”
